Tuğba Yalçın obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the Chemistry department at Istanbul Technical  University. Her Master’s was under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kamil Ürgen in the Materials Engineering department at Istanbul Technical  University. In 2019, she joined Koc University as a Ph.D. student. She is working on a nanostructured thin film in photochemical and photoelectrochemical applications such as water splitting and CO2 reduction. Her research activities focus mainly on 2D perovskite nanosheet powders and their thin films, and their photo- and electrochemical applications
