I received my master’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa in 2019. During my master’s degree, I worked on electrolytic and electroless coating, the corrosion behavior of metals, investigation of electrochemical properties, synthesis of high-corrosion resistant nano-oxide materials, and thermal energy storage.
I received my PhD degree from Koç University in 2023, and I worked on 2D layered materials for the photocatalytic CO2 reduction and water splitting application projects. My interdisciplinary research focuses on synthesizing 2D layered materials using solid-state and sol-gel methods, structural, photocatalytic and electrocatalytic and electrochemical characterization, hydrogen evolution, and CO2 reduction reactions.

Research interests:
Synthesis of Semiconductor Oxide Materials
Synthesis of 2D Layered Materials
Nano-metal oxide structures and synthesis methods
Investigation of electrochemical, photochemical, and optical properties
Band Gap Engineering
Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution (HER) Reactions, Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction Reactions
Electrochemistry
Electrolytic-Electroless Coating
Corrosion
Thermal Energy Storage
